We are able to deliver flexible quantities – from multiple pallets to a full 24 pallet load to most areas, either direct from our factories or via wholesaler stockists.

Our experienced sales advisors are on hand with a wealth of knowledge for support and advice and are backed by a business dedicated to producing the finest growing media and delivering exceptional customer service.

Clover's Story

What began as a humble family venture, carved out with weathered hands and a quiet vision, Clover grew into one of the most respected peat businesses in the UK and Ireland.

Over 50 years ago, Patsy McNulty, together with his wife Annie May, founded Clover with a shared dream and a deep-rooted respect for the land. While Patsy brought his quiet philosophy — work honestly, tread lightly, and give more than you take — Annie May matched him step for step with unwavering determination and a tireless work ethic. Just as he taught others to listen to the land, she taught them the value of perseverance, precision, and heart.

To them, peat wasn’t just fuel or a growing product — it was a story, layers of time pressed into earth, waiting to warm homes, bring life to plants, or even flavour a wee dram of whisky. They believed in harvesting responsibly, in building something that would last, not just in profit, but in principle.

The annual community gatherings at the bog edge celebrate not only the harvest but the values they sowed together. Patsy’s boots sit by the office door, not as a monument, but as a quiet reminder: that lasting success is found in humility, care, and the strength to keep going. And in the spirit of Annie May — that no job is too small when done with pride, and no legacy is built alone.

In honouring Patsy, we honour the spirit of perseverance, of craftsmanship, and of connection—to each other and the land beneath our feet. His story does not end here; it lingers in every plant grown on Clover Products, whispering of the man who turned peat into legacy.

But Patsy’s journey was never walked alone. Beside him every step of the way was his wife, Annie May—his steadfast partner in life and work. Her quiet strength and unwavering support were instrumental in building the foundation that Clover Grow stands on today.

Today, Clover Grow stands not only as a business, but as a tribute to both Patsy and Annie May. The aim today is to still maintain the high standards they set and produce the highest quality of product for both the Professional Grower and our Retail Customers.
